About Us

The Embassy of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago was officially opened on February 26th 2014 by the Honourable Kamla Persad-Bissessar, then Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

The Embassy is also accredited to the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, the Kingdom of Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of Philippines.

Monday – Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, Beijing time

Public Holidays

The Embassy will be closed on the following dates:

  • New Years Day - January 1st
  • Chinese New Year - February 7th - 13th
  • Tomb Sweepin - April 4th
  • Independence Day - August 31st
  • Mid-Autumn Festival - September 16th
  • National Day - October 3rd to 6th
  • Boxing Day - 26th December

Apart from Immigration and Consular services the Embassy also performs the following services for nationals who are conducting business with Chinese companies. Trinidad and Tobago companies can check with the Embassy as a precautionary measure prior to initiating business transactions in
China since the Embassy possesses valuable and useful information that
would greatly assist them in their business ventures.
