How does Trinidad and Tobago Foreign Policy translate at the multilateral level?

Trinidad and Tobago’s foreign policy at the multilateral level, accordingly, seeks to promote and protect these principles and interests within the international organizations of which it is a member; to enhance the international profile and image of the country; to ensure that its participation influences the policies, rules and regulations which emanate from these organisations; and to maximize the benefits to be derived from membership of these entities. These objectives thus encapsulate the primary functions of the Multilateral Relations Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
